I am Adrienne Kuchik. I am the principal at James A. Garfield School 31.

Tell me about this awesome office.

For me, I need a place that makes me want to feel productive. I love glam everything. So this was, you know, feathers — glam, glitter wall — glam, modern art. So I try to keep everything in a place that makes me happy to come in every day so that I can get as much work done and help as many kids and teachers as possible.

How many people that walk in here are just blown away?

Everyone. Everybody. Everybody that comes in here, it's a very much talked about space.

How long have you been here?

This is my seventh year here.

What do you like most about it?

I love that we're a family. I love everything. Well, I love everything about this building, but we're a very close knit group. Students, families, teachers, all of us. We're very close.
